Game Rules

Mahjong is a four-player game where the goal is to complete a winning hand of four sets (triples or sequences) + one pair.

🔹 Gameplay Overview:

• Each player starts with 13 tiles (dealer starts with 14).
• Players take turns drawing and discarding tiles to form winning combinations.
• The first player to complete four sets + one pair calls “Mahjong” and wins!
• If no one wins, the game ends when all tiles are used.

🔹 Winning Tile Combinations:
✔ Pong – Three identical tiles (e.g., three bamboo twos).
✔ Chow – A sequence of three tiles in the same suit (e.g., 4-5-6 in circles).
✔ Kong – Four identical tiles (grants an extra turn).
✔ Pair – Two identical tiles (e.g., two eights).
